Mission Programs

Mission programs are a ministry of Wright's Chapel that extends beyond the local community.  We often join with other congregations to participate in the worldwide missions of The United Methodist Church.  These missions are supported by the donations of our members.

Over the years, volunteers from Wright's Chapel have been active in work to aid hurricane and other storm victims with recovery.  We are proud of the work they have done, often traveling distances and remaining on the job for a week or longer.

Closer to home, gleaning has saved truckloads of farmers' crops that remained after the harvest.  Both adult and youth volunteers have gone out in the fields and orchards to pick what's left.  Through their efforts these truckloads of produce have found their way to food banks and shelters.  We are fortunate to know farmers who serve and join this discipleship of giving.
